Three barbers at Sublime Studios cut fades and tapers: Mousie, Q and Berto. A fade or taper starts at $30 with Berto, $35 with Q, and $50 with Mousie, whose price includes the beard, mustache and eyebrows.
Walk-ins welcome when a chair is free. Booked clients always go first.

A fade blends the hair from very short, or down to the skin, up into longer hair on top with no visible line. A taper does the same thing over a smaller area, usually just the sideburns and the neckline, so it looks cleaner as it grows out. Where the blend starts (low, mid or high) changes the whole shape of the cut, so tell your barber how you wear your hair and how often you come in.
Mousie has been barbering since 2015 and is known for precision fades and clean blends, and he won Student Best Fade Champion. Q works with every hair texture, straight to coily. Berto is the one to see if you want a design cut into the fade.
